Tom Baer, an Associate with Sterling SGC passed away today, September 11,2020. Viewing will be at Sierra View Funeral Chapel in Carmichael, CA on Tuesday, September 15th from 1 to 3pm. Baer, a Cable Industry veteran, had an extensive sales & marketing management background. With history working for industry giants including Comcast, AT&T Broadband, MediaOne and Continental, Tom brought his know-how and expertise for making programming compelling to the heavy hitters. He provided creative insights for internal and external communications, customer notifications, telemarketing efforts and building grass-roots interest in specialty programming. Drawing on his first-hand knowledge of system rebuilds, digital launches, channel lineup realignments and high definition television launches, Tom successfully positioned client opportunities for distribution. Ad Sales, Direct Sales and Public Relations experience rounded out Tom’s contributions to the Sterling BCG Team.
