Cadillac, MI (November 12, 2019) – NewsNet, the 24-hour news network focused on delivering headlines without talk and opinion-based programming, has begun teasing the launch of their new studios, which, according to a network promo which debuted this week, will go on-air next month – along with several other upgrades.

The promo, which can be seen on the network’s social media pages (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkfR3oZmtSs), was released approximately six months after the network broke ground on a new facility consisting of three new studios, each with their own control rooms, as well as a new, state-of-the-art master control room which will oversee the operations of both NewsNet and Freelancer Television Broadcasting’s local stations, WMNN and WXII-LP.

NewsNet’s teaser promo begins by teasing the network’s new set through a series of close-ups, and then depicts Chief Meteorologist Morris Langworthy preparing a weather forecast with a notably different look than the weather graphics the network is currently using on-air. The weather sequence is followed by a montage of newsroom and control room shots which depict both familiar on-air talent and hint at some new faces joining the NewsNet team. The promo ends as music builds and a woman steps up to a news desk, just before the word “December” appears on screen for the last second of the spot.

“We celebrated the groundbreaking of our new facility in May, and we are indeed getting ready to bring that new facility online,” said NewsNet President Eric Wotila, “The promo released this week is intended to give our viewers a sneak peek at what’s to come.”

Beyond “December,” NewsNet has not yet announced a precise debut date for their new studios, but says that information will be released soon.

“We wanted to give viewers a early chance to get excited about the changes to come,” explained Wotila, “So we felt it was appropriate to tease a general timeframe before releasing our precise debut date.”
