The Manoj Bhargava-funded NewsNet digital multicast network is rapidly shifting its distribution strategy by acquiring low-power television stations across the U.S. that will serve as owned-and-operated properties.
These stations are licensed to Bridge News LLC, and it has just agreed to purchase an LPTV property serving Gateway City.
W36EX-D 36 in Alton, Ill., is the station NewsNet will get in St. Louis, and Greg Guy of Patrick Communications served as the broker representing the seller — Liberty Communications subsidiary of River of Life Family Church.
